Jason Andujar is a 2019 OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Bayshore, NY who attends Bay Shore Senior High School. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present physical strength proportioned nicely throughout frame. Primary outfielder, shows good energy moving towards the ball and fields the ball out front, strides slightly open with front side with an extra step through release, full arm action through the back and shows good carry on throws when on top of the ball with arm strength. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow in the box with a slightly open stance. Utilizes a leg lift trigger and uncoils into swing well. Shows looseness to hands which start away from body and loads at start, upper body dominant swing. Patient approach, full path through the zone, occasionally gets downward with path but stayed mostly linear and shows carry when on time with leverage out front, has present bat speed through the zone and swings with intent.
