Alfredo Jimenez is a 2023 2B/RHP, OF with a 5-5 135 lb. frame from Orange Park, FL who attends Trinity Christian Academy. Small to Medium frame with a young, slender type build. Ran a 7.43 second sixty yard dash. Primary Second Baseman, good first step instincts as he proved to have some lateral range. Funnels it out front with feel for the leather showing. Younger arm action as he threw it 76 mph during drills. Fits the second base mold well and projects here. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch as he lifts just above the belt. Flashed drop and drive mechanics as he stayed direct to the dish. Medium arm circle in the back and then released from a higher slot. Repeatable in his actions as he filled up the zone. Fastball up to 75 mph and mixed in a curveball showing depth. Secondary Outfielder, taking efficient routes to the baseball before gathering it up. Long arm action and released from a higher point. Accurate around the bag as he threw it 76 mph during drills. Left-Handed Hitter, starting narrow with an open front side. Big leg raise to start the swing and then worked into a hard, linear swing path. Whips the barrel through the zone and proved to have some pop in the bat. Fundamentally sound swing that will make big strides with a strength gain. Good Student.
