Aaron De La Rosa is a 2020 RHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends Pembroke Pines Charter. Young athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. Big rocker step to start his delivery, gets back on line well and uses his lower half, long and loose arm stroke with some whip at release, mid 3/4's arm slot. Mid-70's fastball, has his best command and works lower in the zone when he gets his arm slot up, tends to get under his fastball and work up in the zone. Throws both a curveball and slider, slider is the sharper pitch at present with tight spin, curveball will show depth. Key will be developing a consistent release slot between all his pitches and subsequently improving his fastball command. Good student.
