It’s difficult to project what position Davis will play defensively at the next level; he played a number of them in Chapel Hill. He might end up at third base if he can add some strength, second base or even a corner outfield position. What we like best about Davis’s game right now is his bat. He has a nice swing from the left side of the plate and hit a number of balls hard with wood. Davis lacks the extension in his swing to be able to project him to have big time homerun power, but his is a high average, line drive type of swing that should be a plus for him in the future. He shows a very good arm and can run a little. He's going to be a top college player and his best years are still ahead. Chris is an outstanding student as well.
