Joaan De Jesus is a 2023 SS with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Santo Domingo, NC who attends Otilio Virgil Diaz. Recorded a 7.42 second 60-yard dash time. Plenty of quick twitch athleticism with present strength and size. Primary shortstop with very clean and high energy actions. Extremely twitchy with excellent glove work and throws across up to 83 mph. Standout defender with excellent foot quickness and smoothness overall. Righthanded hitter with a big leg lift trigger and very loose hands. Very good barrel skills when the front foot is timed up. Gets the barrel out in front and can work line drives all across the field. Tremendous student.
