Neile Thomas is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-4 230 lb. frame from Deerfield Beach, FL who attends Pompano Beach. Recorded a 8.42 60-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher with a tall frame with present strength throughout. Throws exclusively from the stretch and sits weight into back knee while gathering himself over the rubber. Gets on top of the ball well from a high slot and changed eye levels with his fastball up to 84 mph. Mixes and sequenced pretty well. Best offspeed was his changeup that showed depth and cut with low spin. Landed his firm slider for strikes and tight horizonal bite. Secondary first baseman and showed solid actions. Right-handed hitter and displayed bat speed and a middle of the field approach. Caught a good amount of barrels with strength at the point of contact. Tremendous student. Named to the Florida Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
