Jack Nobe is a 2024 OF/RHP/MIF with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Washington, MO who attends St. Francis Borgia. Recorded a 6.86 second sixty yard dash time, showcasing good speed. Tall frame with a long and lanky build, good physical projection with plenty of room to fill moving forward. Primary outfielder with a passive approach, waits back on the ball and showed definite arm strength with good carry out of the hand. Utilizes a long and loose arm circle with some whip to it, has the speed and arm strength to play the outfield at a high level. Also worked out in the infield, shows developing glove work and good lateral range. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a high leg lift and a crossfire stride, has some stab in the back of the arm stroke and comes from a high three-quarters slot. Fastball lacked significant movement but creates deception within the delivery which makes it harder to hit. Curveball showed 12-6 shape with varying depth, overall was very effective during his outing when he commanded both pitches. Left-handed hitter with a square and balanced stance, minimal stride and limited load within the operation. Compact swing with a simple weight shift, gets the barrel turned over well. Flat bat path through the zone with solid bat speed. Will continue to improve barrel control as he can repeat his timing more consistently. Very projectable athlete with tools to like moving forward. Great student. Named to the 2022 National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
