Connor McGhee is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Suffolk, VA who attends Nansemond-Suffolk Academy. Medium athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Works exclusively from the stretch with a high leg lift start and good gather over the rubber, uses his lower half well to drive to the plate, long and loose arm action with a high 3/4's arm slot that creates good downhill plane, has some energy to his mechanics but repeats them well. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with some cutting action to the glove side. Curveball showed good spin and good downer depth at times, developing change up with some sink. Young pitcher who should continue to improve.
