Garrett Williams is a 2021 RHP/1B with a 6-5 190 lb. frame from College Station, TX who attends College Station. Extra-Large frame with a lean, athletic build. Really looks the part. Ran a 7.65 second sixty yard dash. Primary Righthanded Pitcher, working from a balanced start to a higher leg kick with weight on back side a bit. Slight hip and shoulder turn at the top before he extends and drives. Short, whippy arm action as he hid the baseball very well. High three-quarter arm slot as he went on the fill it up. Tunnels the baseball well as he went on to miss barrels. Lands direct to target and had smooth, repeatable mechanics. Fastball was up to 89 MPH as it showed some arm side run. Pounded corners with it and got ahead in the count early. Mixed in a slider as well that he landed for strikes. Swing and miss type pitch. Upside showing here on the mound. Named to National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect List.
