LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2021 Texas Prospect Showcase
Daniel Collins is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 5-11 176 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Grand Oaks. Primary pitcher with solid athleticism on the mound. Low hands start with a short step and medium leg lift. Explosive downhill short circle three quarters slot. He shows quick arm speed with a heavy ball. There's good sync in upper/lower half with a high motor tempo attacking hitters. Life over movement on the fastball which was up to 84 MPH. He fills up the zone, has some savy up there. Sharp curveball drops off late with short 11/5 shape with feel to land. Clean arm action, hides the ball well overall and is a very competitive. Excellent student in the classroom.
