Aidan Keenan is a 2023 RHP/SS with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Morgan Hill, CA who attends Live Oak. Long and lanky athletic build, looks taller than listed, very projectable physically. Very long arm action in back, very extended mid 3/4's arm slot coming through with big extension out front, extremely fast arm. Fastball worked up to 95 mph with outstanding late hard running life, threw his fastball for strikes, got nine swing/miss on his fastball in two innings of work, dominant pitch. Curveball had plus spin and sharp biting action, controlled it well when it didn't get too big, which it did at times. Flashed a developing change up. Lots of variables especially with arm stroke length and curveball depth but has elite level swing and miss stuff when he's in the zone. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to Stanford. Named to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
