Elvin Espinal is a 2022 C/IF/OF with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Union, NJ who attends Union. Smaller frame with a lean build and room to fill. Primary catcher, worked out behind the dish with a slightly turned setup, shows quickness to the release, compact arm stroke with good strength to throws. Right-handed hitter, sets up even with his feet and spread in the lower half, some wrap to the bat at load but swings hard to get the barrel out and create some lift to the middle of the field. Good student.
