Tyler Stillson is a 2023 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Chapel Hill, NC who attends Chapel Hill. Excellent long and lean frame with good athletic actions and a lot of room to add muscularity. Ran the 60 yard dash in a quality 6.99 second time. Primary position IF, moving well on his feet and displaying good range, especially to his glove side. Worked hands through the ball securing the ball into deep funnel into midline transition. Full arm path and high effort, creating throws up to 84 mph across the diamond. Secondary RHP, working from a neutral start and on the 3B side of the rubber before working to balance point where he is already in his back leg. Stationary hands breaking at the belly into a deep path mostly inline. When synched up at foot strike he showed some life on the FB that peaked at 82 mph with low spin profile creating some sink. Secondary SL got better throughout his appearance, was a mid-60's pitch with average spin and flashed a solid CH in the upper-60's with some sink. RHH starting slightly open and hands at the shoulder away from the body. Showed nice whip in his hands with solid strength and he uses them well to get the barrel to the ball. Some twitch to his actions at the plate with emerging strength that could project to gap power and beyond long term. Elite performer in the classroom and intriguing two-way potential on the field.
