William Sullivan is a 2023 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Bishop Gorman. Large frame with a thick build and present strength throughout. Ran a 7.31 second 60-yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher with a longer side step delivery and into a leg lift above the belt. Lands mostly in line down the mound with a coil over the backside at the gather. Long arm action from an over the top arm slot. Fills the zone up well with the fastball working mostly straight to the plate and topping out at 73 MPH. Looping 12-to-6 curveball creating swing and miss early in the outing. Worked out defensively as a secondary first baseman. Works to the ball with some stiffness in hands. Gets the ball out especially when working to second base. Developing carry out of the hand at 70 MPH. Also worked out from the outfield. Sits back and works with a deliberate close to the ball. Fields to the side looking to get the ball out with quickness. Slightly uphill with release at 72 MPH. Righthanded hitter with an even stance. Stiff leg lift trigger working into a barred load. Leans back into load. Uses the whole field with a spraying contact oriented approach. Good student as well.
