Ethan Bourg is a 2022 SS/OF/UT with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Magnolia, TX who attends Magnolia West. He showed good speed with a 6.86 second sixty. A primary shortstop with a medium build. On the infield he works cleanly out front with the glove with a tall gather into a quick transfer, he showed well on the slow roller with a quick release and accurate throw from a different arm angle. At the plate, he starts his right-handed swing with a even stance and hands set by his ear, he uses a hanging leg lift to time up his short swing that works through the zone with intent and hand strength at the point of contact, he showed good feel for the barrel working up the middle on a line with a 87 mph exit velocity. Very good student.
