Iyad Ansari is a 2023 C/1B/OF with a 5-11 209 lb. frame from Kennesaw, GA who attends Georgia Premier Academy. Medium frame with a pretty physical build. Ran a 7.89 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, looks the part behind the dish, shows quickness in his exchange and generates accurate throws to the bag with developing arm strength. Also worked out at first base, comfortable around the bag with good hands, moves around with good intent and shows an easy release to produce accuracy to bags. Right-handed hitter, has some length to the swing but shows able to leverage and work to the pull side with barrel skills that pair well with the present impact strength.
