Jakob Lewis is a 2021 2B/OF, UT with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Madison, AL who attends Sparkman. Medium frame with an athletic build. Ran a 6.97 second sixty yard dash. Primary Second Baseman, sitting back on the baseball as he gathers the baseball with confidence in the glove. Quick release from an over the top slot as he was accurate to the bag. Fits the profile well as a second baseman. Secondary Outfielder, two hand gather out front as he picks it up and exchanges with urgency. Shorter arm action as he was accurate to the bag. Threw it 80 mph during drills. Switch Hitter, from the right side, starting open with a high back elbow. Simple cuts with a linear swing path as he looks to drive it middle-away. From the left, open to start as he is balanced. Quick hands as he looks to pull the baseball. Proved he could impact the baseball out front. Great Student.
