Tyler Moore is a 2024 C/3B, UT, with a 5-10 157 lb. frame from Shorewood, IL, who attends Joliet West. A medium frame and medium build. Ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. Primary catcher who starts with a side saddle looking to gain ground moving forward. Throws were accurate to the bag at 71 mph. Produced 2.16 pop time. Had some quickness to replace his feet at times. Also worked out as an infielder with feet that carried him well. The glove worked with a good funnel into the throws. Threw 75 mph across the infield. His footwork was direct to the ball while working as an infielder with an accurate arm across. A right-handed hitter with a wider base and slightly open feet. Higher set hands and a high back elbow with a leg lift trigger as he makes an inward stride. Had some hand speed to get on time and produce line drives to the back of the cage. Great student.
