Brandon Gralla is a 2024 RHP/MIF/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Dix Hills, NY who attends Half Hollow Hills West. Medium, athletic build with strength remaining to be added throughout his frame. Primary right-handed pitcher, athletic, repeatable operation with an above-the-belt leg-lift. Over-the-top arm slot, creating a downhill look against opposing hitters. Sinks into lower half, landing slightly closed as he creates some deception. Held velocity over two-innings of work in the upper-70s with more velocity left in the tank. Showcased 11-5 shaped curveball that showed horizon and vertical depth, continuing to develop feel for change-up. Secondary outfielder, athletic approach to the ball, deep fielding funnel, carrying his momentum through his throws. Flashed some arm strength, up to 80 mph with carry on his throws to the plate. Right-handed hitter, sets up with a narrow, upright stance. Utilizes leg-lift-trigger to initiate lower half, downhill swing plane impacting some line-drives to the middle-of-the-field when on time. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
