Lazaro Rodriguez is a 2024 3B/RHP, 1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Fort Myers, FL who attends South Fort Myers. Large frame. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a three-quarter arm slot, pounded the zone, worked quickly and attacked hitters early. Has a slower delivery, threw from the stretch, the hands start at the waist, come up high and then quick to the plate. Repeated his mechanics well, used all for quadrants of the zone well for strikes. The fastball sat 70-76 mph paired with a curveball that sat 66 mph. Flashed a change up that sat 68 mph. A lot to like, was effective and will continue to get better as he gets older and develops more velo.
