Max Kaufer is a 2023 C/3B with a 6-1 208 lb. frame from Medford, NJ who attends IMG Academy. Very strong athletic build. 7.29 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has good lower half actions, comes out of his crouch well polished footwork and exchange with an advanced ability to repeat his actions, gets downhill on his throws with good accuracy. Right handed hitter, has a very simple and repeatable swing approach, hands driven swing and has very strong hands, got the barrel out front consistently and has some lift in his swing, balanced enough to be able to drive the ball to all fields, has good hitting skills for a catcher.
