Jorge Romero is a 2019 OF/SS with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Carolina, PR who attends Escuela Secundaria Acelerada Villas de Loiza. Nice athletic body, has some present strength with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, deep hand load in his set up, long and strong swing, has good extension out front with some present bat speed, uses his lower half well, is looking to impact the ball and has lots of power projection. 6.95 runner, has athletic actions in the outfield, stays balanced well and works through the ball, solid arm strength with some carry and accuracy. Projectable young athlete.
