Jason Mack is a 2023 SS/IF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Raleigh, NC who attends Home school. Tall and athletic young build with plenty of room to fill out and get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance, loads his back side well and really triggers them after a short stride into contact, shows present bat speed and the ability to drive the ball all over the field, had multiple extra base hits during the games and turned on balls with authority. impressive young hitter. 7.51 runner, played both the infield and the outfield, aggressive to the ball at both positions, 3/4's arm slot with developing arm strength, can see him as a future third base/left field defender. Also pitched, works from the stretch with a high leg lift coiled delivery, mid 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with occasional arm side run, developing feel for spinning the ball. Bat is his tool. Excellent student.
