Matthew Cuzco is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends St. Ignatius College Prep. Large frame and thick build with present strength. Primary right-handed pitcher with a long and off line arm action with some plunge in the back. Drop and drive mechanics, uses the lower half well. Throws across his body and creates some deception with the angle, fastball really takes off arm side with late life. Comes from a three-quarters slot, struggles to repeat the delivery at times, throws every pitch hard and with high intent. Shows a slider with some cut across the zone and short vertical drop, tunnels it very well. Flashed a splitter as well to complete the three-pitch mix. Excellent student. Named to the 2021 Midwest Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
