Bennett Thompson is a 2026 C/RHP, SS with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Brighton, MI who attends Detroit Catholic Central. Recorded a 7.53 sixty yard dash at the event. Medium athletic build. Primary catcher. High setup out of the crouch. Longer arm action with a quick transfer. Pretty accurate throws to second base. Efficient footwork for age. Secondary right-handed pitcher. Simple delivery. Quick, fast arm action with some finish out front and through the zone. Competed well in the strike zone. Future is behind the plate, but was solid on the mound. Switch-hitting catcher. From the left-side, has an even base with loose hands and present bat speed. The barrel is a little inconsistent but there are tools to work with. Similar setup on the right-side. More length to the swing here. High intent from both sides with barrel accuracy. Went 4-for-4 during game action on one of the days. Quality hit tools for age. Excellent student. named to the 2022 National Underclass Showcase Top Prospect List.
