Garrett Long is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 5-4 140 lb. frame from Clarksville, TN who attends Rossview. Recorded a 8.69 second 60-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a young frame and developing build. Deliberate footwork and approach to gather working to the ball in the outfield. Clean gather to exchange working inline through the ball and uphill release on throws to the bases at 68 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a big step step working from the middle of the slab. Rhythmic delivery with a high-waist leg lift and direct line to the plate. Short arm swing to a higher slot release sinking into the backside getting down the slope. Solid mechanics and delivery that should lead to increased velocity as he matures. Switch-hitter with an even base and high hands setup from the right side of the plate. Short swing with minimal stride and some barrel control through zone. Left-handed hitter with more rhythm and loft to the swing path. Fluid stroke from the left side and more impact out front turning the barrel over.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
