Reese Moore is a 2022 C/IF with a 6-0 215 lb. frame from Van Meter, IA who attends Van Meter. Big and strong physical build, especially in his lower half. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow straight stance with a quick leg lift trigger, does a very good job of getting into his strong lower half and creating bat speed, pull and lift approach with big power potential, consistently gets the ball in the air and can create carry. Very good runner for his size and position, 6.85 in the sixty. Sets up low behind the plate, one knee down catching style, has strong hands and sticks pitches well, big raw arm strength from a quick release, can get long in his lower half actions. Lots of loud power based tools. Excellent student, signed with Iowa.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
