Nolan Schubart is a 2022 OF/1B with a 6-6 210 lb. frame from Durand, MI who attends Orchard Lake St. Marys Prep. Extra-large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, has some present strength to frame and plenty of additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 6.83 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, sound defensive actions moving towards the ball, fields it out front and works to a higher slot on throws, gets it out quickly and with a clean arm stroke, deliberate tempo and actions to and through the ball, shows accuracy to the intended base. Left-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a wide base with a high hand set. Loads hands back at start of swing, does a nice job of staying shorter to the ball, fast hands with lift and natural lift to swing path. Consistent feel for the barrel, works to the gaps on a line and ball jumps when squared, big power projection moving forward. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Michigan.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
