Mason Beno is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Chesterfield, MO who attends Parkway West. Recorded a 7.40 second 60 yard dash. The primary shortstop plays back on the ball with quick feet as he moves laterally with a clean exchange into a three-quarter arm slot and accurately throws across the diamond. The left-handed hitter stands in the box with an open, narrow stance and a high back elbow. Beno works the ball with a middle of the field approach as he is developing bat speed. Secondary right-handed pitcher has a very controlled delivery that is well balanced from a high three-quarter arm slot and a loose arm. Beno commands the strike zone with a smooth and easy fastball topping 83 mph. Good student.
