Miguel Sosa is a 2019 SS with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Santo Domingo, DR who attends Otilio Virgil Diaz. Medium athletic build with some present strength. 15 years old at the time of the showcase. Primary infielder but did not take drills in the infield, has young outfield actions with good arm strength. Right handed hitter, uses his strong hips well in his swing and creates very good raw bat speed, ball explodes off the barrel with plenty of jump and carry, mid to pull side contact, gets the ball in the air and projects power. Has big offensive potential, will have to learn more about the defensive and speed tools.
