Will Taylor is a 2021 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Okarche, OK who attends Kingfisher HS. Young tall and angular build, some strength in his lower half with limited upper half strength. Slow paced delivery, lands about six inches closed on the front side, deep arm action with a hand wrap in back, has a loose arm coming through. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, more velocity there as he physically matures, tries to work to spots with his fastball. Curveball not consistent yet but will flash spin and some downer depth when thrown at lower velocities, will overthrow the pitch at times for more of a slider shape with looser spin. Left handed hitter, upright open stance, pull approach with a loose swing swing. Showed good athleticism and footwork at first base in drills, short and quick release on his throws. Very good student.
