Jarren Ford is a 2023 1B/3B with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Vacaville, CA who attends Will C. Wood. Big and thick build that can get stronger. Right handed hitter, starts with a lift and replace front leg load with a closed front side, swings hard with good looseness and extension through contact, sound swing approach with some barrel to ball skills, showed good plate coverage and a quiet and balanced approach. 8.10 runner, has some young arm strength at first base, good footwork coming off the bag. Has a high ceiling offensively if he can continue to improve his overall athleticism. Good student.
