Nicholas Adrian is a 2024 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Doral Academy Charter. Recorded a 8.01 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, compact frame with plenty of time to physically mature. Primary catcher that receives from a side-saddled stance with soft hands and quick footwork out of his crouch. Displayed fairly quick mid-line transfers with uphill movements towards his target. Recorded arm strength up to 72 mph in drills with developing accuracy. Secondary infielder with slight anticipatory footwork into the fielding process, while displaying a clean funnel out in front and quick transfers to his throwing hand. Showed solid ability to range laterally to either side and displayed arm strength up to 74 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with tight hand set, high back elbow and hover trigger. Incorporates linear weight shift into contact, while imploring quiet hands, consistent bat-to-ball skills and feel for the barrel. All fields approach with the ability to create line drive impact fairly often, flashing some strength through contact. Solid overall skill set with upside at the plate and excellent fundamental base. Will continue to expand his tools as he matures and adds strength. Good Student.
