Isaias Solano is a 2022 3B/1B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Mater Academy Lakes. Large and athletic, high-waisted frame. Ran a 7.61 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, worked out in the infield with twitchy actions and good hands, works through the ball well, quick arm up to 76 mph across the infield. Right-handed hitter, starts slightly open with a high hand set and high back elbow, stays inside the baseball, sprays the field with line drive contact to all fields, power potential will improve as lower half fills, upper half dominant stroke, has good strength at the point of contact at present.
