Alejandro Guerrero is a 2023 SS/C with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends Moody. Ran a 7.62 second sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a young and athletic frame. Shows excellent first step quickness with clean and smooth glove actions. Has athletic actions through the fielding process, with developing arm strength that will grow and develop as the frame matures. Makes throws that are accurate and true across the diamond at 72 miles per hour. Secondary catcher with developing footwork behind the plate, gaining ground toward second base and replacing the feet well. Recorded a 2.00 second pop time, and made accurate throws to second base at 70 miles per hour. Has a bent knee stance, with a toe tap trigger and two piece load and swing. Maintains good balance through the swing, driving balls to right-center field with a simple and smooth, line drive barrel plane. Good student.
