Ryan Denison is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Wesley Chapel, FL who attends Tampa Jesuit. Big and strong build, especially in the hips and lower half. Pretty simple delivery with good direction and pace through release, high 3/4's arm slot creates some downhill angle. Upper 80's fastball, mostly straight with angle through the strike zone, has been up to 92 mph in the past at PG events. Adds and subtracts well from a slurve type breaking ball and shows good feel for the pitch, change up was a solid third offering for a starter's profile at the next level. Verbally committed to Florida State.
