Garrett Pierce is a 2022 C/3B with a 5-10 156 lb. frame from Vernon, TX who attends Vernon HS. Recorded a 7.85 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with a slender build and room to add strength. Primary catcher with a low profile and easy, smooth movements. Soft hands and feet work well through release. Short, quick arm stroke with with very good accuracy. Arm strength plays well with throws recorded up to 75 mph and plays well from secondary position of the infield. Righthanded hitter with an even base and toe tap trigger into the load. Compact hands and keeps them still through the load. Wide base and stays short to the ball. Looks to get on plane quickly and works on a line to all fields. Good student.
