Steven Mara is a 2021 OF/1B with a 6-2 202 lb. frame from Rancho Cucamonga, CA who attends Orange County Lutheran. Strong and athletic build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 6.99 seconds. Primary outfielder whose throws in from the grass maxed out at 87 MPH. Did a good job of coming through balls to get his momentum behind his throws. On the offensive side of the ball he hits out of an even base stance with a toe tap timing mechanism. Plenty of intent in his swings and he flashed some quality bat speed. Also does a good job of transferring his weight throughout his swing. Good student.
