Giancarlo Bernardo is a 2022 C/RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Toronto, ON who attends Woodbridge College. Medium, thick build with room for physical maturity. Primary catcher; simple, deliberate actions behind the plate, gains ground towards target, good direction, accurate throws, 2.10 Pop in drills, will improve with continued growth. Right handed hitter; exaggerated narrow stance with drift into front side, short downhill swing plane, creates leverage when on time, middle of field approach with some present hand strength.
