Kieran Sweeney is a 2019 RHP/ with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Moorpark, CA who attends Moorpark HS. Large, physically projectable frame with broad shoulders and room for additional strength. Primary righthanded pitcher who only pitched during the event. Easy, online delivery with no wasted movements. Utilizes lower half well with a solid hip load and turn towards the plate. Higher three-quarters arm slot and mixes his pitches extremely well. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with riding arm side life and gets it to both sides of the plate well. Changeup has big run and depth with similar hand speed and confidence as the fastball; will throw the CH in any count. Curveball is a 12/6 pitch with late, downward action. Fields his position well. Good student.
