Anthony Alvarez is a 2024 MIF/2B, OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Overland Park, KS who attends Blue Valley West. Medium frame with athletic, compact build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.96 seconds. Hits from wide-spread stance, crouched with high hands and back elbow, compact swing path with quick hands, stays on flatter plane, can make contact to all fields and shows power up pull-side gap, consistent at-bats throughout the weekend. Worked out in the infield, moves well laterally, clean hand actions overall and has solid footwork throughout, shuffles into throws and has quick release, clocked up to 81 mph across the infield on throws. Very good student.
