2004 World Showcase
Sanchez was a late entry into the Showcase and we’re glad he was there. He has a lean middle infielder’s body but a very quick, loose arm that generated an 86-89 mph fastball for 2 innings. Sanchez has an easy, athletic delivery and has good command of his fastball. Both his curveball and change up show good promise and should just keep getting better. This is a young man that the scouts and coaches need to pay attention to. Being a 6 foot RHP, college coaches should get all over him. He's also a very good athlete who can hit and play the outfield. 2-way college player, who can pitch at any college in the country. He will be a low 90s guy in the very near future.
