Ryan Jones is a 2021 OF/1B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Fanwood, NJ who attends Scotch Plains Fanwood. Smaller, athletic frame with a lean build. Ran a 6.99 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, worked out in the outfield with simple actions to the ball, shows athleticism to movements, solid transfers to a quick release, compact arm action and generates some carry to throws. Right-handed hitter, sets up with an even base, shows stiffness to hands but able to get the barrel head out working an all-field approach with mostly middle of the field line drive contact. Very good student.
