Dominic Parker McDonald is a 2019 RHP/OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Chesapeake, VA who attends Grassfield. Large frame with strong, mature build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.16 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, deeply hooked offline arm stroke, coils back over rubber, short closed stride downhill, quick arm, fastball worked 75-80 mph with easy release, showed curveball 11/5 shape and some depth, also showed solid changeup. Hits from even-based stance, wants to drive the ball into the air, good strength to contact, has raw power to pull side. Took outfield reps, showed arm strength up to 79 mph. Good student.
