Justin Zych is a 2022 3B/1B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Riverside, CT who attends Greenwich. Recorded a 7.05 second sixty-yard dash time. Large, projectable frame with some present lower half strength and time to physically mature. Primary third baseman with a developing defensive skill set, some lateral range and clean glove actions during the fielding process. Fairly well-engaged lower half mechanics working into the throwing motion with arm strength recorded up to 73 mph across. Right-handed hitter that hits from a simple operation while using a leg lift trigger for timing. Incorporates a minimal weight shift into contact with some present bat speed and leverage when extended. Whole field approach with a slightly lofted stroke and developing feel for the barrel. Fairly consistent bat-to-ball skills with potential for power as he refine his mechanics. Excellent Student.
