Jon Sandola is a 2020 LHP/ with a 6-6 208 lb. frame from Fort Lauderdale, FL who attends Cardinal Gibbons. Extra large frame with present strength throughout. Primary lefthanded pitcher with a simple side step delivery into a high leg lift. Compact arm circle at take back and releases from a three-quarter arm slot. Lands in line to the plate carrying momentum well. Utilizes drop and drive actions to the plate while getting to extension. Fastball shows natural cutting action to the glove side topping out at 76 miles per hour. Looks to get on hitters early with the fastball. Stays down in the zone well and creates soft contact. Curveball shows sharp depth through a 2-to-7 shape when staying on top at the point of release. Very good student as well.
