Andrew Parr is a 2020 RHP/C, OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Opelika, AL who attends Opelika. Tall and lean frame with some strength and more to fill. Ran a 7.11 second 60 yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, uses a long arm action and high 3/4 arm slot in his delivery, slower tempo delivery with some arm strength present, open up his front side early coming to the plate, repeats well. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with late life to it at times, ball comes out of his hand cleanly, mixed in a curveball with gradual 11-5 shape, commands the zone well and settled into his outing nicely, effective arm with potential for more velocity moving forward. Secondary catcher, side saddle and high set behind the plate, comes out of his crouch with some quickness and could unlock some more arm strength with adjustments to lower half, 1.91 second best pop time. Righthanded hitter, weight sits on his back side, bat wraps at load with low hands, opposite field approach. Great student.
