Jackson Wheeler is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from South Jordan, UT who attends Bingham. Solid athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Right handed hitter, upper body rotational swing with a line drive swing plane, stays short and direct to the ball, sees the ball well and has an accurate barrel, has the strength to top spin the ball, good swing to continue to improve from, battled well in his game at-bats. 7.33 runner in the sixty. Compact arm action in the outfield with a short stride out front, can lengthen his arm and stride for increased carry on his throws. Also pitched, fast paced delivery, threw almost all strikes with a fastball that topped out at 75 mph, had lots of confidence in his curveball and threw it for strikes as well. Very good student.
