Christian Rivera is a 2020 C with a 5-6 170 lb. frame from Wesley Chapel, FL who attends North Tampa Christian Academy. Medium frame with compact, strong build. Hits from spread stance with even base, small toe tap trigger, rocks back into load, good timing skills, accurate barrel with middle-field approach, simplistic movements in swing that work well and are repeatable, made consistent hard contact with ability to work to all fields, extra-base power in there as well. Worked out behind the plate, good low target, quick feet out of crouch, clean transfer, gets off quick release with throws on a line to 2nd base, clocked up to 73 mph on throws, solid catching tools overall. Good student.
