Johnathan Coombs is a 2025 OF/SS with a 5-10 174 lb. frame from Mechanicsville, MD who attends Dematha Catholic. Strong well proportioned athletic build. Right handed hitter, has a big and well timed leg raise trigger, turns hard and tight on the ball, fast hands and nice present bat speed, has an accurate barrel and turns it over well, very good game swings, projects very well as a hitter. 6.73 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder with lots of range and athleticism through the ball, fields the ball out front and throws with an over the top arm slot, makes on line throws with some carry. High level two-sport athlete as a running back in football but has a bright baseball future if he sticks with this sport. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
